I feel so blessed that I looked for a funeral home in that area, and I found the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. When I say I feel blessed, that is an understatement. Lance Peterson was nothing less then a miracle sent to help me. From my first phone call he made me feel so much more at ease, and that Norman and I were the most important thing in the world to him.

Rev. Wayne D. Kopitzke at the Norway Lake Parish in New London, MN was also sent from God to be there for Norman and me. It was a sad and serious day, but they made everything seem light and easy....even throwing in a little humor when we had finally laid Norman to rest. I can't really even express to you how peaceful, happy and serene I felt as I left there for my drive back to Bloomington. I had cried all the way there, most of the time during our chat, and all through the funeral...but found myself smiling all the way back!
From the moment we first talked, I knew everything was going to be okay. They researched Normans life to track down his family so he could be buried with them...they arranged everything. They kept in constant contact with me, and always answered the phone when I needed them. Lance also found me the most amazing and perfect Reverend to be with us graveside.

The Kandiyohi County Board will meet for the last time in 2022 on Tuesday. The agenda includes a letter from MEnD Correctional Care terminating health care services at the jail. When she came to the nursing home to get "MOM" it was midnight and she was still so caring and thoughtful. Amanda and Brooke were both great to work with with the planning. The way you had MOM look for our personal viewing, she looked SO good and was SO peaceful looking.
